Kyrenia is the main town on the north coast and on both the east and west sides of Kyrenia, there are plenty of villages with excellent properties to look at.

Kyrenia

With a lovely backdrop of the Mountain range, harbour and with its natural beaches, Kyrenia is the perfect place to live if you want somewhere a bit more lively and with lots to do.

Alagadi

Alagadi is a nice quiet little village which is famous for the turtles which come to nest here each year. It is about 20 mins east of Kyrenia and is in close proximity to the Korenium Golf Course.

Alsancak

Around 6 miles west of Kyrenia, Alsancak has spectacular views, a great village atmosphere and many good restaurants. There is plenty going on here for all the family.

Bellapais

One of the most beautiful and sought after villages on the North Coast, Bellapais has amazing views of the mountains and the sea. Home to the historic 12th Century Bellapais Abbey, the village has a lot to offer including some of the best in local cuisine.

Catalkoy

A popular village situated a bit further up the mountain range, approximately 5 miles east of Kyrenia. Catalkoy has a nice village atmosphere and there are lots of restaurants and a local beach close by.

Dogankoy

This is a quiet village about 1 mile east of Kyrenia. Ideal if you want to relax away from the hustle and bustle.

Edremit

About a mile away from Karaoglanoglu, west of Kyrenia, this is a small village situated on the mountainside. This is ideal if you don't want to be too far away from civilization yet still enjoy the peaceful setting.

Esentepe

This is an ideal location if you are interested in golf. With the international golf course just up the road and a new marina due to open in late 2008, Esentepe is quite a large village with several restarants around 40 minutes drive from Kyrenia.

Karakum

Situated about a mile east of Kyrenia, Karakum has its own sandy beach and is conveniently located if you want to be close to the town. There is a large supermarket and lots of good quality restaurants.

Karaglanoglu

Situated around 3 miles west of Kyrenia, there are some excellent bars and restaurants as well as some beautiful beaches and coves.

Karmi / Karaman

The village of Karmi is situated about 4 miles west of Kyrenia, high up within the mountains. Most of the houses have been lovingly restored to their original state, with all of their original features. Typically an English village, there is lots to do and there are lovely views. There is even an English pub!

Karsiyaka

About 20 minutes drive from Kyrenia, this area is fairly small with great views of the mountain range. There are some good restaurants and sandy beaches less than 5 minutes drive away.

Lapta

Lapta is a big village about 9 miles west of Kyrenia, there is lots to do here, from the aquapark to the many restaurants which this village has to offer. There are some excellent beaches as well as the beautiful gardens and historic churches.

Ozankoy

A lovely village approximately 2 miles east of Kyrenia, there are excellent views of the mountains and the sea. There are some lovely local restaurants and spectacular views of Bellapais.

Yesiltepe

Located between Alsancak and Karaoglanoglu on the mountain, Yesiltepe as wonderful gardens and beaches. There are plenty of restaurants, shops and bars to choose from.

Zeytinlik

Set amongst the olive groves, this quiet village has spectacular views of St Hilarion Castle and is very peaceful.
